Heeere's Lisbeth ... !!

Noomi Rapace as Lisbeth Salander in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (Niels Arden Oplev, 2009). The first portrait photos of the character were released today.

I strongly recommend that you click to enlarge ... !!

She looks so cool, and so right - happy happy!! :-D I mean, I'm happy happy. ;-) She looks just right, almost exactly like I've pictured the character in my mind. Now I really cannot wait to see the movie. Six weeks, bwaaah ... !! I don't wanna wait six weeks!! :-(

Article with more pictures here. Trailers here and here.

I think this is going to be a kickass movie. :-) I love the books (the first one's out in English ;-) and the movie, so far, looks like it's going to be fantastic. Fingers crossed. :-) Here's hoping it'll be a huge hit in Scandinavia and will get UK distribution too so you can see it! :-)

When Stieg died his brother and father tok over the rights to the bokseries and the movie. Since Stieg wasent married to his girlfriend she did't get anything. Stieg's brother and father are to complite idiots that did't have any contact whit Stieg when he was still alive. They just tok his money after his death and gave nothing to his former girlfriend Eva, not even half of the apartment they had to gether. So all the money you use on Stieg's boks and movie goes to Stieg's brother and father, I therbay hope you consider this and maybe download the movie insted. You can read about this at www.stv.se but it's writhen in swedish...

omfg what's wrong with people ... !!1

Anon, seriously ... sheesh. I mean, learn to spell. (And before anyone points out that s/he may be a dyslexic - ever heard of spellcheck?) I know the whole story surrounding these books, not sure how anyone who follows news on the culture scene in Scandinavia even slightly could have missed it. 'All the money I use on Stieg's books'? FYI, I got these books through BookCrossing and from my local library, so no one's made a penny from me on them. Hope that sets your mind at rest.

As for your suggestion that scamming the filmmaker and everyone involved in the production is better that doing it the honest way ... get off my blog, seriously. I don't want to metaphorically listen to that shit.

I checked the url you included, but guess what, you misspelled it. (No surprises there. >:-) I'm sure you meant to refer me to www.svt.se. *rollseyes* Also, I'm fluent in Swedish, btw. (Even if I wasn't, it wouldn't matter, because, guess what, I am Norwegian. Duh.)

Trust me, she wants you to keep your distance. ;-)

You have GOT to read those books.

Ah the conundrum I cannot buy the books because then I will be contributing to money to the wrong people and if I watch the movie I will be doing the same.
well according to the bad spellur ;D
but as we say here "on a scale of one to ten, I would definitely give her one" :_O
