Things Only Idiots Believe, Part Nine

That they can taste the difference between tap water and bottled water, because bottled water is purer and goes through a rigorous cleansing process.

    reminded me of a sketch a few years ago on Irish TV where a comedian filled a bottle of water from the river beside a water bottling company with the label similar to that of the company and advised that it was 100% cheaper. it caused trouble as the company in question put emphasis on the purity of its source and the water in the river was brown while filming.
