  2. I didn't read it quite like that ... I read it more in an ethical/moral light, to mean that the world is such a tangled web that we can hardly do right by one person or group without simultaneously doing wrong by another. Like the Gaza conflict at the moment. Both parties are in the right in some ways, and both in the wrong in others. :-(
