Obviously, on the trip to Peru, I took a million gadzillion pictures and videos. Did I mention that already? Well, I used my camera a lot. More than on any previous vacation ... which I might say about every trip I go on, actually. ;-) For this trip I actually even got a new camera. More about that later. Of course I'm planning to make lots of videos with all the material I have now, and in fact, I have already started. The first six videos are already up on my Youtube channel. I'll be the first to admit that the first ones aren't very interesting. I'm making and uploading them chronologically so to start with it's not all that. But I've got some good stuff coming up, I promise. Especially from Galápagos. Obviously. :-) Keep an eye on my channel if you're interested. I'll probably post my favorites here too. Lava lizards and giant turtles coming up, eventually ... ;-)
Sometimes things are so crazy, out there and/or annoying that I just have to share it with someone somehow. Or I feel like I simply must record my thoughts on it for posterity. This is a good place to do that.

I'm 41 years old. I live in Oslo, the capital of Norway. I love chocolate. I keep freshwater turtles. I like to travel and to see new places. I like to play board games and card games. I'm a big fan of Keanu Reeves, ElfQuest, The Phantom of the Opera, and the even more fantastic opera musical Which Witch. The highlight of my year is the Eurovision Song Contest. I love movies. My all-time favorite movie is Gone with the Wind. I LOVE to read. My favorite author is Terry Pratchett. My favorite book is The Count of Monte Christo.
I write mostly in English on this blog. Whatever is written in Norwegian is something that either deals with situations, persons & phenomena specific to Norway, or is contigent on the reader understanding the Norwegian language in order to get the point.
