Quote of the Week

To say that atheism requires faith is as dim-witted as saying that disbelief in pixies or leprechauns takes faith. Even if Einstein himself told me there was an elf on my shoulder, I would still ask for proof and I wouldn't be wrong to ask.

Yeah, I think so. :-)

The point Mather makes is one that many believers seem incapable of understanding. Unfortunately. And of course: as you know. :-)

If Wendy Pini however told ME I had an elf on my shoulder, I would not ask for proof because in her head i just might and besides I woldn't mind all that much to have an elf on my shoulder as long as it was one of hers...
a bit off subject maybe... :-)

Wendy Pini could *make* an elf sit on your shoulder ... !!! At least in a picture. ;-)

Great Quote
This reminded me a conversation I had with my late Father, there is a 'Faerie' tree opposite my home, I asked my father if he believed in faeires(leprechauns to USA readers) and the myth that if you cut the tree you'll never sleep again, he said no, I asked why he didn't bulldoze the tree in the middle of the field, he said "I'm not taking that chance". :)
