I was going to write something kind of serious today, a long post about serious things ... but it's gotten so late and I don't feel like it now after all. So today's post will be pictures, instead. I've been to my parents' house today - they've been out of town for almost two weeks, and my mother really wanted me to stop by since she's been worried about their three (yes, three!) freezers after the thunderstorm last Friday. And come to think of it, there was another one at around 2:30am this morning. I also watered the plants and checked for mail (there was none, their tenants are apparently doing their job and getting their mail in for them) and according to my mother's instructions I picked her redcurrants and put them in the freezer ... one of the freezers ... for when she and my father get back. Whenever that is, I'm actually not sure.
Anyway, of course I took a bunch of pictures too. Quite a lot. Here are some of the best ones.

Shiva: Thanks! :-)
DES: Hands off, dey iz miiine ... !!!
great shots, how many of the berries had you to taste test before the rest made it to the freezer ;P. why do the have tree freezers, how many bodies do they need to hide?
@Paz: I have no idea what Leisha's parents keep in their freezers, but I have have half a pig divided more or less evenly between my freezer and my mother-in-law's. I also have a whole lamb on order. I would need two full-size freezers to hold all the meat + the usual stuff like ice cubes, ice cream, pizza, frozen leftovers etc., but I only have room for one — hence the «divided evenly» part.
I forgot to add: I guess that counts as one and a half. Bodies, that is.
was supposed to be a joke, if you were to get technical it could depend on capacity of the freezer's etc, we used to have a freezer that used to hold two pigs and a sheep, a few pizza'a too. there was even room for a small child!
