It's hard work being a skeptic

If you don't believe me, take a look at this. So ... much ... STUPID ... !!! o_O But extreme kudos to the blogger for taking it on. I mean, seriously. Wow.

And for those of you who read Norwegian, here's another one (scroll down to the comments posted in the last few days). Kudos again, and I second the offer of sending some very very tiny spoons.

First on the English one, absolutely fantastic the way his arguments are taking apart, like the author I was laughing on the outside and crying a bit on the inside.
On the Norwegian one I agree its fraud to take money of people for any of these, I hate the way they use references on the radio etc that do not actually support their arguments.
I also hate in Ireland the fact that these "complementary medicine's" might be covered under some health insurance, they now trying to use this to legitimize their practices.

The joys of idiocy indeed. :-)

Paz, I'm so sorry about your man flu. I know of course that it's one of the worst diseases around. I hope you'll make it through.

About the situation in Ireland, with the health insurance plans maybe covering alternative treatment ... that is just shocking. That is so wrong on so many levels. Are these private insurers? Those alt.med. people really are such crooks ... !! They'll use anything to trick people. Sheesh. >:-(
