Some Christmas presents

Happy new year, everyone. I hope you had a good time last night with friends or family. :-)

It's almost a little too late for it now, but I wanted to show off some of all the great Christmas presents I got ... last year. :-) Absolutely not meaning to diss anyone whose present isn't in any of these shots, but I kind of grouped it by category to make it easier, so not everything fit in. :-)

You'll see that my friends and relatives know me quite well ... ;-)

Turtle things ... :-)

Handmade things ...

Calendars ... check out the Egypt one, CH had that made specially for me with photos from our trip. :-D

Chocolate, of course ... ;-)

Postcards! :-D

And of course some books. :-)

Am I lucky or what. :-)

I'll say this for being so bloody slow in getting prezzies - at least I can see photos like these and get a good idea of what to get...

Or of what not to get, since I already have all this stuff now ... ;-)

But don't worry about being slow (because I totally understand you ;-), I'm more worried about you getting your presents. You really need to meet up with K&K soon and get them. They have your DVDs too. Remember, all work and no play make James a something something ...

Happy new year!! Tell your parents happy new year from me too. :-)

No worries about working too hard at the moment - I dared to disagree with my manager on Thursday and was suspended until 9am on Monday. All that after she told me that there was no way I could have next week off because it was too short notice!

How do I always end up in stupid situations working for complete morons...

Still, plenty of time to think of good things to get for your present. Sadly no possibility of visiting my Japanese friends because they've made other plans.

Great start to the New Year, but sod 'em all. Things will improve, even if I have to sell a kidney to make it happen...

Cute cuddly turtles! :-D

That Jane Austen book - is that a bookcrossing book? If so, I'm very interesting in having it at some point. ;-)
