Some political stuff

A very interesting article about the personal history of John McCain, from Rolling Stone magazine.

A comment on the most recent developments in the Republican campaign, from Time magazine.

This latter really brings up some of what I myself resent about Sarah Palin ... but I don't have the energy to get into that now, it's getting on towards midnight here. I'll get back to it.

Finally, a fantastic segment from Countdown with Keith Olbermann.

Keith Olbermann rocks. :-) Watch this video.

Was a very good read! The curtain around John Mccain's sketchy past must be pulled away. I will admit though, there needs to be one for Obama as well. I fear there won't be one though because many are afraid of being labeled as a racist.

I have seen quite a few of Olberman's shows lately and I can't get enough. Thanks for posting this one, I hadn't seen it yet. Tonight's debate should be real interesting now.

I forgot. That old lady that he talks about who shot herself is in my city. There are A LOT of foreclosed homes in my area. It's really really sad.

Yeah, that McCain article is extremely interesting, something I think everyone should read. And also from a respectable, serious magazine.

As for something similar on Obama, I don't know ... I'm pretty sure that if something like that existed it would have been brought forward by now. You know? The GOP has spent about $10 million this year alone, is the figure I heard, on digging into Obama's past. And Bill Ayers is the best they can come up with?

I don't think the GOP or anyone else have anything genuinely damaging on Barack Obama. The election's what, 25 days away? If they've got it, they better bring it pretty soon ...

kccat: that is so awful about that woman. She's only one year younger than my grandmother. I can't even begin to imagine how she must have felt in her situation. :-(
