Home sweet home ...

Well, I'm back home. For about an hour. It is such a weird feeling. This whole day has been weird. This morning I was in Cairo, this afternoon I was wandering around the Grande Place in Brussels, and tonight I'm back in Oslo. Weirdness.

More coming ... :-)

Thanks! :-) Pictures are coming up, and plenty of them ... videos too, even. We've taken something like 3500 pictures. I'm not even kidding.

I put the mod there as a temporary precaution ... I was stupid enough to post a comment on a blog belonging to a total idiot - check Margo's blog ('Death in the Ballroom', link on the sidebar) to see who - and I don't want him spouting any of his bs here, so I enabled the mod to just nip that in the bud, if he should get any ideas because of my critical question in response to his dumbassery. :-) Hopefully won't have to leave it up for too long. :-)

I'm glad you arrived safely home, but I'm even happier your trip was fantastic!

And I totally understand what you mean about weirdness. You bring the world with you when you come home, but others just don't care. Life has gone on without you, and they're not interested in the "air" of a world-experience. It takes a few days to adapt to the "old" rhytm again.

Welcome home! Hope the adjustment period isn't too bad - I known very well what you mean by that weirdness, after my own trips abroad... Looking forward to the photos!

Thanks for the welcome, guys. :-)

Weirdness - what's so strange is that while I'm gone I'm pretty much totally focused on that, but then when I get home, the whole place where I was just fades into the background. It almost feels like I was never really there ... like maybe I just dreamed it. :-) And that transition happens SO quickly. It's very strange.

I've got lots of photos to share, and of course some gifts ... ;-) Anéa, I got you a Christmas present from there that I think you'll really like ... :-)
