The nominations for this year's Spellemannspris were announced today, and I just heard that they're nominated as Newcomer of the Year! Wow! Congratulations to them and good luck. :-)
Spellemannsprisen is ... as much as I hate this expression ;-) ... the Norwegian Grammy Awards. It's the biggest and most prestigious award in the Norwegian music world. A pretty big deal.
And if anyone reading this gets the chance, they're doing another concert at Rockefeller on January 23rd. I recommend it. :-) You can get tickets online here.

Yeah, something like that. We're tiny nations, what can we do. :-) But for a Norwegian band just starting out this is actually a pretty huge deal.
Maybe next year we can send them to the ESC and they'll be seen by all of Europe. Whee ... !! :-D
