Winter Wonderland

OK, time for something more pleasant. I said a while back that I was going to post some shots of a real Norwegian winter landscape - pictures I took when I was in Nannestad for New Year's. (From which I haven't posted anything either. Sheesh, me.) Well, no time like the present. A collection of wintry landscapes, not in order, for your viewing pleasure, offered here. :-)

I would love to have a winter like that once

Thanks. :-)

I wish I could say that if you come to visit here in winter, this is what you'll get ... but, alas, it doesn't work like that anymore. 'Snow-poor' winters have become normal now and around here there are no guarantees of sights like these even in the depths of winter. :-( However, I do know where to bring you to let you experience the season ... even more absolutely fantastic ;-) than these pictures show. :-)

So just let me know. ;-)

These are really stunning; particularly those with the sun among the branches. Thought of sending them somewhere? They should be seen by more people :)

Thanks, Findabair - I'm very happy with some of these, so I kind of agree, they're very good. :-)

Not sure where I'd send them - any ideas?

Time magazine do a reader pic thing, these would definitely be good enough, also you could talk to a camera shop

And of course there are various groups on flickr you could send them to, although it can be difficult to get your photos noticed in the really big ones, I would think these are good enough that they would be noticed anyway?

Thanks! :-)

As for sharing the pictures, 6 of them already are in a bunch of groups on Flickr. :-) If I ever get around to doing anything more with them, I'll let you guys know. ;-)
