Quote of the Week

Wherever I go, I am met with that song; it's driving me mad; it haunts me everywhere; if I enter a hotel, bellboys and waiters gather to sing it to me - I suppose in the end if I visit 'a certain place' the cleaning ladies will gather outside to celebrate my visit by singing Norway, Thine Is Our Devotion!
Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson writing on Ja, vi elsker in 1905.

If I achieved that, then I'm thrilled. :-)

Hi Leisha, thanks for visiting my blog! I see we've got a few things in common; The Phantom of the Opera is my favorite musical, and I love the movie too. Gone with the Wind is another favorite, and The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my favorite books in the world! =)

Looking forward to reading more of your blog!

Hi Betty!! Nice to see you here. :-) It certainly sounds like we have something in common. From looking at your blog I'd say our tastes in books definitely aren't dissimilar. ;-)
